M1907 khaki canvas leggings. This type of leggings was used during the Punitive Expedition of 1916 and during early WWI.

Khaki canvas construction with web strap wrapping around the calf. Both buckles are marked “Pat. Apl’d. for”.

The straps have three grommets on the back of the lower part, which can be secured to a small stud located on the leggings.

Both leggings are stamped with the manufacturer’s information that is now hard to make out.

Guêtres en toile beige du modèle 1907. Ce type de guêtres fut particulièrement utilisées lors de l’expédition punitive de 1916 et au début de la 1ere GM.

Construction en toile épaisse beige avec sangle s’enroulant autour du mollet. Les deux boucles sont marquées « Pat. Apl’d. for ».

Les sangles disposent de 3 œillets sur la partie intérieure basse, pouvant être fixées sur un crochet placé sur les guêtres.

Les deux guêtres sont tamponnées du nom du fabricant, maintenant illisible.
