Colt .45 magazine pouch.
Nice British manufacture. Closed by two US lift-the-dot snaps. It was never stamped with the "U.S."on top of the closing flap. It has a "48" (Inspector mark?) stamp on the flap and on the back. It is marked "U.S. B.H. & G. 1944 British Made" under the front flap.
