M1942 steel helmet with leather liner.

Original dark green factory paint with traces of lighter green paint, mostly to the rear of the shell. Leather liner in worn condition.

The shell was manufactured by CKL (ET) (Eisenhuttenwerk AG, Thale Harz) and is a size 66. The leather chinstrap is missing. Just a two small parts remain attached to the liner bales.

Dimensions :

Shell size 66. Liner size 58 or 59 (EUR) - 7 1/4 to 7 3/8 (US)

Condition :

Several scuffs and scratches on the shell. The leather liner is in worn condition. It is partially torn, and reveals the liner band padding.

Casque en acier de type M1942 avec coiffe en cuir.

Peinture verte foncée d'usine avec peinture verte claire partiellement visible, surtout sur la partie arrière de la coque. La coiffe en cuir est en état moyen.

La coque a été fabriquée par le fabricant "CKL" (ET) (Eisenhuttenwerk AG, Thale Harz) et est de taille 66. La jugulaire en cuir est manquante. Une petite portion de la jugulaire reste accrochée sur les deux passants.

Dimensions :

Taille de la coque: 66. Taille de la coiffe: 58 ou 59.

Condition :

Plusieurs rayures sur la coque. La coiffe en cuir est endommagée. Elle est partiellement déchirée et laisse apparaitre le cerclage.
