M1936 musette field bag with interesting markings on the closing flap, under the US stamp.
It is identified with a laundry number and it shows a nice Medical Corps caduceus drawing, and the markings "111th GH", which stands for 111th General Hospital, also known as the 111th Evac Hosp. This medical hospital served in ETO (Holland - Oct 44).
The bag was manufactured by The Scholnick Shoe Corp in 1943. All the straps, hooks and buttons are present.
