USMC Brigadier general forest green garrison cap.

Very nice bright yellow satin lining and dark brown leather sweatband. This side cap was tailored by the famous Massachusetts company "Bancroft".

It has a Brigadier General rank insignia (1 star) pinned on its left side. As found. There is marks of a previous insignia's clutches on the satin lining.( Most probably a colonel insignia).

Dimensions :

Size 7 1/8 (US).

Condition :

Excellent condition. The Bancroft marking on the sweatband is faded.

Calot vert forêt d'un Brigadier général de l'US Marine Corps.

Très belle doublure en satinette jaune et bande de sudation en cuir brun. Ce calot a été fabriqué par le tailleur réputé du Massachussetts, "Bancroft".

Il dispose d'un insigne de grade de Brigadier général (1 étoile) épinglé sur son coté gauche. Tel que trouvé. Il y a des marques de pins sur la doublure de satin, indiquant la présence d'un insigne précédent (Très probablement un insigne de Colonel).

Condition :

Très bon état. Le marquage Bancroft présent sur la bande de sudation est estompé.
