US Army enlisted men OD wool garrison cap.
OD wool construction with fabric sweatband. Medical Corps brown and white piping. This cap still has its QM tag and is dated 1942.

Nicely identified to "Robert B. Plumb 8323 Co B 55th Bn". The 55th Medical Bn served in Normandy, Northern France, Rhineland, Ardennes-Alsace and Central Europe during WWII. Nice historical piece!

Construction en laine brune avec bande de sudation en tissu. Passepoil marron et blanc du medical corps (Corps médical). Cette coiffe dispose de son étiquette originale et est datée 1942.

Joliment identifié à "Robert B. Plumb 8323 Co B 55th Bn". Le 55eme bataillon médical à servit en Normandie, Nord de la France, dans la région du Rhin, en Ardennes-Alsace et en Europe central durant la Seconde Guerre Mondiale. Belle coiffe avec beaucoup d'histoire!
