MKII fragmentation practice grenade body.
1942/43 production with blue paint covered with a black coat of paint. The body is marked "AF" (American Fireworks) on one side, and "M" on the other.
The bottom has non-threadded hole. This body was used on a trench art project and was fitted with a brass insert that we were not able to remove.
Hard to find!

Corps de grenade a fragmentation d'entrainement de type MKII.
Production datant de la période 1942/43 avec peinture bleue recouverte d'une peinture noire plus récente. Le corps est marqué "AF" (American Fireworks) d'un coté, et "M" de l'autre.
La partie basse montre un trou non taraudé. Ce corps a été utilisé pour un projet d'art de tranchée et un insert en laiton a été inseré à l'intérieur. Nous n'avons pas réussi à retirer cet insert.
