M1910 2nd pattern canvas haversack manufactured by the R.H. Long Company and dated August 1918.

This bag is identified to a corporal of the Headquarter Company - 3rd Battalion - 123rd Infantry Regiment - 31st Infantry Division.

The handwriting inscription on the back says:
