Interesting set of early WWII identity plates / dog-tags identified to a WWI / WWII veteran.
Both plates are marked with the full name, army service number and next-of-kin name and address. Early plastic cord with brass loops.
According to an online source, Paul M Brubaker (from Ashland, Ohio) served in WWI & WWII.
His WWI involvement is as follow: Co E 8 Infantry ONG (Co E 146 Infantry) to 22 Feb 1918; Bakery Company 311 to --; Bakery Company 381 to 5 May 1918; Bakery Company 309 to Discharge Cook 24 Nov 1917; Private, first class 22 May 1918. American Expeditionary Forces 18 July 1918 - 6 July 1919.
