USN aviator leather shoulder M3 holster for Smith & Wesson Victory cal .38 revolver.
This holster is marked on the top rear: USN Boyt 43 and is identified to J.W. Hill.
The ammunition holding strap has been removed, which appears to be a common practice among Navy pilots during WW2.
A few green oxidation spots can be observed on the brass snaps.
