US Army Air Forces officers / Army Air Corps OD crusher cap, "Flighter" model manufactured by the renown Bancroft.

Very nice shape with dark OD wool gabardine crown, green wool officer mohair band and brown leather visor and chinstraps. "Acid test Gemsco" regular size officer front insignia.

The leather sweatband shows the Bancroft Flighter with the pre-1945 "Pat. Pend." marking. The sewing has come undone on a part of the sweatband.

Casquette d'officier "crusher" de l'US Army Air Forces / Army Air Corps de couleur verte du modèle "Flighter" fabriquée par le fabricant renommé "Bancroft".

Belle forme avec coiffe en laine de gabardine verte foncée, bande d'officier en laine verte, visière et jugulaires en cuir brun. Bel insigne frontal d'officier de taille normale, marqué "Acid test Gemsco".

La bande de sudation en cuir montre le logo Bancroft Flighter avec la variante du marquage "Pat. Pend." datant d'avant 1945. La couture de la bande de sudation est décousue sur une partie.
