Scarce pre-WWII US Army officers cap with pink crown.

Classic pre-WWII shape with rare (non-regulation) pink wool gabardine crown, light brown wool officers mohair, leather visor and front chinstrap. Nice unmarked pre-WWII officer front insignia.

This cap was manufactured by "The Lyon tailors 1920 Lyon St, San Francisco".

Condition :

The crown is in excellent condition.
The leather visor shows some scratches with various depth. The chinstrap is dry, and the right side pulling tab is cracked.

Rare casquette d'officier de l'US Army datant de la période d'avant-guerre avec coiffe en laine dite "Pink" (grise-rose).

Forme typique des casquettes d'avant-guerre avec rare coiffe (non-réglementaire) en gabardine de laine pink, bande d'officier en laine marron claire, visière et jugulaire frontale en cuir brun. Bel insigne frontal d'avant-guerre, non marqué.

Cette casquette a été fabriquée par "The Lyon tailors 1920 Lyon St, San Francisco".

Condition :

La coiffe est en excellente condition.
La visière en cuir montre quelques rayures plus ou moins profonde. La jugulaire est sèche, et la patte de tirage sur la partie droite est craquée.
