US Army Air Corps officer’s chocolate gabardine shirt. Army officer regulation “Form fit” shirt made of brown gabardine and tailored by Joyson. A pin back 1st Lieutenant rank is still attached to the collar as found.
This shirt is identified by the stamp “Lt. G.R. Canning 0-713700” on the pink satin collar lining. This officer’s laundry number is also stamped on the shirt’s collar tag.
This shirt shows moderate wear on the collar lining and sleeves (see photographs).
