Khaki / Tan uniform grouping identified to Lt. Richard L. Lang, an engineer who served in the 2nd Air Force and 8th Air Force during WW2.

This lot includes:

- An officer khaki / tan dress jacket with the 2nd Air Force patch on the left arm, and the 8th Air Force patch on the right arm. It shows two overseas bars at the bottom of the left arm. Both patches are embroidered on blue felt fabric.

- An officer khaki / tan dress pants. The lining shows the name of another service man. However, these pants were contained in Lt. Lang trunk and match the dress jacket.

Both jacket and pants were manufactured by the Palm Beach manufacturing Co. and sold by Rogers Peet Co. New York - Boston.

- An officer khaki / tan dress shirt with the 2nd Air Force patch on the left arm, and the 8th Air Force patch on the right arm. This shirt is identified to Richard L. Lang by a white tag sewn in the collar.

- An officer khaki / tan dress tie identified to Richard L. Lang.

- An officer khaki / tan dress side cap with black and gold officer piping identified to Lt. Lang by his laundry number “L-4059”.

Great and complete grouping belonging to the same Army Air Corps officer. A rare find.

Uniforme complet en toile beige identifié au Lt. Richard L. Lang, un ingénieur qui à servit dans la 2ème Air Force, et la 8ème Air Force pendant la Seconde Guerre Mondiale.

Ce lot inclus:

- Une veste d’officier en toile beige dotée du patch de la 2ème Air Force sur l’épaule gauche, et un patch de la 8ème Air Force sur l’épaule droite. Cette veste montre deux barres de service à l’outre-mer en bas de la manche gauche. Les deux patchs sont brodés sur un tissu en feutre bleu.

- Un pantalon d’officier en toile beige. La doublure comporte le nom d’un autre officier. Cependant, ce pantalon était contenu dans le coffre du Lt. Lang et fait paire avec la veste d’officier mentionnée ci-dessus.

La veste et le pantalon sont tout deux fabriqué par Palm Beach Manufacturing Co. et revendu par Rogers Peet Co. New-York - Boston.

- Une chemise d’officier en toile beige avec le patch de la 2ème Air Force sur l’épaule gauche, et un patch de la 8ème Air Force sur l’épaule droite. Cette chemise est identifiée au Lt. Lang par une étiquette placée dans le col.

- Une cravate d’officier en toile beige et identifiée au Lt. Lang.

- Un calot en toile beige avec les couleurs d’officiers noir et or et identifié au Lt. Lang par son laundry number « L-4059 ».
