Authentic US Army Air Corps officer service cap. It was manufactured by the Nudelman Brothers Co. and is of the “Delman Crusher” model.
This cap has a lot of character and definitely has the “been there” look. It has been crushed, which tend to indicate a US Army Air Corps issue, even though this cap should not be referred as a Crusher.
The eagle badge is a Gemsco and is hallmarked “Acid Test Gemsco” at the bottom of the back.

Casquette d’officier de l’US Army Air Corps de couleur chocolat. Cette casquette fut fabriquée par l’entreprise Nudelman Brothers et est du modèle « Delman Crusher ». Cette casquette montre beaucoup de caractère. Elle a été pliée, ce qui semble confirmer une utilisation par l’US Army Air Corps, bien que cette casquette ne soit pas une « vraie » crusher.
Le badge est de fabrication Gemsco et est marqué « Acid Test Gemsco », au dos et en en partie basse.
