US Army Air Forces / Army Air Corps officer winter service cap.

Nice green wool felt crown with green officer mohair and brown leather visor and chinstraps. It has both front and back chinstraps. The back chinstrap buckle is broken. It was manufactured by the renown manufacturer "Dobbs" located on 5th Avenue, N.Y.C NY.

This cap is identified to "Richard I. Hart, Lieutenant, Air Forces, Army of the United States".

Measured size: 7 (US).

Condition :

Good condition. The leather loop holding the back strap buckle is broken.
The cap lost its shape over the years for still has a nice display if place on a display head or stuffed with paper.

Casquette de service d'hiver pour officiers de l'US Army Air Forces / Army Air Corps.

Belle coiffe en feutrine de laine verte, bande d'officier verte, visière et jugulaires en cuir brun. La boucle de la jugulaire arrière est détachée. Cette casquette est de fabrication "Dobbs", implanté sur la 5eme Avenue, à New York, NY.

Cette casquette est identifiée par une petite étiquette indiquant "Richard I. Hart, Lieutenant, Air Forces, Army of the United States".

Dimensions :

Taille mesurée: 7 (US) / 56 (FR).

Condition :

Bonne condition. La boucle de la jugulaire arrière est cassée et la boucle est détachée.
Cette casquette a quelques peu perdue sa forme avec le temps mais montre encore une belle forme lorsqu'exposée sur une tête de présentation ou lorsque remplie de papier.
